Have Your Back To School Jitters Started Yet?
It’s that time of the year: Back-to-school is just around the corner, and with it comes the anxiety – not just for the kiddos, but also for the parents.
We hope to make it a bit easier for you with a couple of last-minute back-to-school tips:
The Kissing Hand
Read “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn with your little one the day before school. It’s a book that deals with separation anxiety in an adorable way. You can also download the audio version.
Take the stress out of your morning and give your child some extra attention in the morning by prepping their snacks and lunches the night before.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out some cheese and lunchmeat shapes for their snack pouch.
- Cut some fruits shapes (watermelon, pineapple, kiwi, and pears work well), mix them with some berries.
- Pack their favorite PB & J into their sandwich pouch. You can even cut their sandwich into cute shapes.
- Don’t forget to write a sweet note on their napkin.
